How the nominations work

Between Thursday 18 December and Sunday 25 January the Lambeth community can nominate individuals, groups and organisations that make a difference through their time, work, or passion to help others for a Lambeth Civic Award within the following seven categories:

Mayor’s Award for Volunteer & Community Champion
Climate and Green Spaces Award
Safer Lambeth Award
Arts and Cultural Heritage Award
Social Enterprise Award
Health & Wellbeing Award
Empowering Young People Award

How the winners are decided

All entries will be considered by a panel of judges for shortlisting. The panel will consist of community partners and Lambeth Council officers.

How and when the winners will be announced

An award ceremony will be held on 17 March 2026 where the winners will be revealed and their work highlighted. 

Invitations will be sent in writing by email.

Your data

Information provided on the nomination form will only be disclosed to council officers directly dealing with the awards and the awards panel members.

The winners' names, the reason for their nomination and the award category will be disclosed for media and press purposes.
