Controlled Parking Zones (CPZs)
Controlled Parking Zones are areas where parking controls have been introduced to protect the parking needs of residents, businesses and their visitors.
There can be several different types of parking restrictions within one CPZ. The controlled hours for single yellow lines will be displayed on the CPZ sign as you enter the zone. However, on some streets the controlled hours may vary so always check the time plate for the parking bay you have left your vehicle in.
If yellow line restrictions apply at different times to the zone times, they are shown on separate time plates near the area of road affected.
In general, you are not allowed to park on single yellow lines between 8.30am and 6.00pm, Monday-Saturday (unless additional time plates at the location state otherwise). Double yellow lines are controlled 24 hours a day.

Lambeth has 20 CPZs located mainly in the north of the borough, shown on the map below.
