We pick up litter from every street in Lambeth every week. Some busy streets have litter picked up every day. Our officers and street cleaning staff regularly inspect our streets for fly-tips. We aim to investigate and remove dumped waste within 4 days.
Help keep our streets clean
We rely on residents to give us information about people that are dumping rubbish so we can prosecute. If we can identify the offender, financial penalties will be issued and if necessary, our officers will refer more serious issues for prosecution via the local magistrates’ court.
Use our fly-tipping form to let us know, if you have:
- seen a fly-tip or dumped rubbish
- information about people dumping rubbish
- seen someone fly-tipping
- evidence that could help us catch fly-tippers

Action we can take
If the rubbish you have reported is on public land we'll remove it. If the rubbish is on private land we'll ask the managing agents or owners to remove it. We'll help to catch the fly-tippers and collect evidence.
