Apply for a secondary school place 2024-25

Use this guide to help you when applying for a secondary school place for the 2024 – 25 academic year

National Offer Day — Wednesday 1 March 2024 

If you apply online, you will be sent an email on 1 March 2024 telling you your child's school place offer. You can also check the offer on the eAdmissions website.

Log in to the eAdmissions portal to access your online account

Only if you applied using a paper Common Application Form will an outcome letter be posted first class to you on 1 March with a reply form to be returned by the same date.

It is vital that you respond to the offer the offer your child has been made by Friday 15 March 2024. If you are unsure how to do this online, please see our instructions for accepting an offer online.

Please note that that details of waiting list places will not be available immediately, as lists need to be reordered which may take a week or so to include late applications etc.

If you wish to apply for more schools and applied online for your child's original application, you will need to use a Lambeth paper Common Application Form, as only one online applications can be submitted. This form can be found in the 'How to apply for a school place' section of this page.

If you applied after 31 October 2023, your application will be processed after 1 March 2024 and an outcome letter sent in due course afterwards. There are no set timescales for outcome letters to be sent.
