Drop into the Brixton Windmill Centre on Wednesdays between 25th January and 29th March to access both a warm space and warm welcoming space, hot drinks and use of our oven.
This is open to anyone – home bakers or batch cookers wanting to save on energy at home.

Shared Oven – this is based on the idea of the medieval hearth, where the local community would gather to cook and bake together at a cooperatively run oven.
Here at Brixton Windmill Centre we have a large professional oven – we’ll be offering this out on a first come first served basis on Wednesdays.
On some days we’ll also have a volunteer baker here to offer up tips and advice.
