The Mayor of Lambeth’s Charities 2026 – 2027
Councillor Paul Valentine, Mayor of Lambeth, is proud to support two outstanding local organisations as his chosen charities for the year. Both charities reflect Lambeth's rich culture, creativity, and commitment to community engagement.

198 Contemporary Arts and Learning
Located in Herne Hill, 198 Contemporary Arts and Learning is a public art gallery and centre for social engagement, education, and creative enterprise. Deeply rooted in the local community, the organisation draws inspiration from the radical history of Railton Road and the Brixton uprisings while supporting artists, learners, and community development.
