The installation of a new verge to calm traffic and reduce flooding on Atkins Road provided the perfect opportunity to create a biodiverse meadow.

We were delighted to work with residents to create a spring meadow on the verges beside houses on Finch Avenue. 

This site provides a show of colour visible from the roadside and lots of pollen and nectar for bees and butterflies.

Extending the pollinator-friendly habitat out from the wildflower meadows and gardens of Myatts Field Park, Knatchbull Road roundabout has had its own Bee Roads treatment.

At Ladas Fields, the small green at the end of Ladas Road in West Norwood, volunteers from the Open Orchard Project planted nectar and pollen-rich spring and early summer bulbs around fruit trees.
