We’re designing our new Lambeth Borough Plan and we want to hear from you
The new Lambeth Borough Plan will tell the story of our shared vision for the future, with a particular focus on the borough we want to live, work and visit by 2030.
Lambeth is a borough of huge diversity, energy and possibility. We have long been home to radicals and reformers, entrepreneurs and innovators - people who work together to help change the lives of others and their own.
For hundreds of years, we have welcomed new communities who have left a unique cultural imprint on our borough.
We are ambitious and through collaborative partnerships and listening to our local communities, we want this new Borough Plan to capture what’s at the heart of Lambeth and our resident’s voice so we can build a vision narrative for all.
We will also focus on designing ideas for change and prioritising action over the next four years (2022 – 2026).
Use this opportunity to impact change in your neighbourhood and influence the London Borough of Lambeth.
How to respond
How you can get involved – consultation extended
Shaping the Borough Plan with our residents and partners is important to us and we want to make sure we’re listening to and capturing a representative voice of Lambeth for all our residents.
So far across October we have done a series of workshops open to the public and local voluntary and community organisations, we have an online Lambeth 2030 survey which is has been promoted by our researchers who are visiting public spaces in the community, and we are also attending existing events making it easy for participants to have the opportunity to discuss the Borough Plan with us.
November and December engagement – have your say about your borough
To build on the insights and feedback we’ve gathered already, we will be running another burst of activity across November and December as below and in addition a number of focused discussions facilitated with local partners
By getting involved, your input and feedback can help us to shape and deliver great services to the people who live and work in Lambeth.
On street conversations
We will be going across the borough to get the views of those who live and work in Lambeth in their local areas, including leisure centres, libraries and markets.
