If you have registered your child’s birth by declaration with another office, please order certificates online.
If you have recently given birth, please book an appointment below.
You may not get an appointment within 42 days of your child’s birth. Please do not worry, you will not be penalised for a late registration.
We offer appointments from 9.00am-4.00pm, Monday-Friday. The Register Office is closed on the first Wednesday of every month from 1.00pm.
When attending your appointment, please follow our Covid-19 guidance for visitors to council buildings.
We will aim to see you within 10 minutes of your appointment time, if you arrive on time.
