Lambeth Council is consulting local schools and other interested parties about the site of the former Charles Edward Brooke School in Myatt's Field which has been closed since 2012. The consultation is on proposed loss of playing field land in accordance with Section 77 of the School Standards and Framework Act 1998 (as amended). We are seeking your views on the proposal to close or relocate the Deaf resource Base at Jubilee Primary School in Lambeth. Due to the current low numbers of uptake in the Base at Jubilee the school are proposing to close the base at the end the academic year 2025. We are seeking your views on this proposal before we decide to support this proposal or not. This is an information gathering exercise and no decision has yet been made if Lambeth support the proposed closure .
