We want you to have your say and raise any issues affecting the safety of women and girls. It will allow us to better understand your concerns, perceptions and experiences. Have your say on historic sites with links to the trans-Atlantic slave trade
The Black Lives Matter protests during 2020 led to new momentum behind long-standing concerns about statues, memorials and street names with associations with the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade. This is a community conversation, together we want to develop proposals on how to deal with this difficult aspect of our history. The Local Government Boundary Commission for England (LGBCE) has decided to hold a period of further limited consultation in five proposed new wards, Clapham Common, Stockwell East and Landor, West Norwood, Gipsy Hill, and West Dulwich and St Martin’s wards.
