Lambeth Council aims to increase canopy cover across the borough and aim to plant 5000 trees between 2022 and 2026. Regrettably though, there are instances where we need to fell trees. Most street trees are felled because they are dead, irreparably damaged (for example by vehicle collisions) or decaying to the point where they are structurally unsound. We want your views on our proposals to introduce three new changes to parking charges: To extend our emission-based pricing to permits for doctors, teachers, business-all zones, business-single zones and motorcycles; To extend the diesel surcharge to all diesel vehicles - including Euro 6 compliant for all permit types including resident permits; To introduce a surcharge for second and subsequent permits held by a single household. Lambeth Council is consulting on the Revised Draft Lambeth Local Views SPD as part of a two-stage process. The revised draft SPD provides information on locally designated views to ensure they are well managed into the future. We want your views on our proposals to Lambeth Draft Food Poverty and Insecurity Action Plan 2021-2024 which describes how we plan to address food poverty in Lambeth over the next 3 years, including highlighting the key priorities for the Year one (2021 – 2022).
