A guided walk in the gardens of the former home of Henry Tate: sugar magnate, philanthropist and art collector. Park Hill was built c.1830 by William Leaf, a banker and silk merchant. Tate lived there from 1885.

Waterloo is a microcosm of housing history: over the past 150 years it it has witnessed  the impact of private developers, philanthropists, Housing CoOps and Council Housing.
