If you have registered your child’s birth by declaration with another office, please order certificates online.
If you have recently given birth, please book an appointment below.
We are an appointment only service and we offer appointments from 9.00am-4.00pm, Monday-Friday. Please attend your appointment with as few people as legally possible.
We will aim to see you within 10 minutes of your appointment time, if you arrive on time.
Birth registration appointments take place at:
Lambeth Civic Centre,
6 Brixton Hill,
SW2 1EG.
The Entrance to the Civic Centre is on Brixton Hill, next to Brixton Electric.
We also offer Birth certificate presentation ceremonies, whereby you can enhance your birth registration by adding a commemorative presentation ceremony at Lambeth Town Hall. For more information, please visit: Birth certificate presentation ceremonies
