Community skip days help residents dispose of large household items and recycling for free.
We are running a trial of these events on selected Saturday mornings, placing large skips in neighbourhoods across the borough. Council staff will be on site to answer questions and help you unload items safely.
About the trial
We want to make it easier for Lambeth residents to dispose of bulky waste responsibly, particularly for households without access to a car.
Community skip days are part of our work to make Lambeth cleaner and greener, tackle fly-tipping, and help residents reuse and recycle more of their waste.
We are using these trial events to understand what works best for residents. Your feedback will help us design and shape a full borough-wide service planned for 2027.
