British, Irish, Commonwealth, qualifying European Union citizens and European Union citizens with retained rights are permitted to vote at these elections.
British citizens living overseas are not eligible to vote in these elections.
Registering to vote
The deadline for registering to vote in these elections is Tuesday 22 September at midnight. Any registration applications received after this deadline will not be eligible for these elections.
