Collection days
This change means that a new collection schedule will need to be put in place.
Some households will retain their current collection day, but collection days for many households will change.
You’ll be informed of your collection day by leaflet shortly before the introduction of fortnightly collections.
Assisted collections
Your black rubbish bin is likely to be heavier when it’s emptied every two weeks. If you think you’ll have difficulty moving your bin to the pavement for collection, you could be eligible for the council’s Assisted Collections service.
