What can we fund?
We can fund
We will be funding projects that meet the local community’s needs and support sustainable growth in their area.
The fund supports both physical projects, such as community space or public realm projects, and non-physical projects like training and skills sharing, health and wellbeing, community safety, or cultural programmes.
You can apply for Development Grants of up to £10,000 or Project Grants of up to £200,000.
We are looking to fund projects which can be completed within two years of receiving grant funding. Successful projects will enter into a grant agreement with Lambeth Council and grant funding must begin being spent within 6 months of the grant agreement for revenue funding, and one year for capital projects.
We cannot fund
We are not able to fund:
- activities which support religious or political purposes
- activities that benefit individuals, rather than the wider community
- business investments
- items that Lambeth Council have a budget for and are statutory
- projects which have no evidence of local community support
- things you have spent money on in the past and are looking to claim for now
- activities that make profits for private gain
- organisations which currently have a Community Connections Fund grant
