Who can apply?

Any group or organisation based in Lambeth or with a strong connection to Lambeth can apply to the Community Connections Fund.

You can be linked with anywhere in the borough, but your proposed project must be located within Brixton, North Lambeth, Stockwell and Waterloo.

Types of organisations

The types of organisations who can apply for the fund include:

  • Charity
  • Business
  • Community group
  • Residents group
  • Social enterprises / Community Interest Companies

Partnerships

The Community Connections Fund encourages applications from organisations working in partnerships. Partnership/collaboration applications should be submitted by one of the collaborating organisations, the lead organisation.

Individuals and unregistered groups 

If you are an individual, unregistered group or organisation, but you have a great idea for a community project, we also want to hear from you.

You can apply to the Community Connections Fund by working with a nurture organisation, who will submit the application and sign the grant agreement on your behalf.

Application support

The Community Connections Team will be providing support to applicants throughout the process. We will be attending neighbourhood events and holding support surgeries.
