We want your views on our proposals to introduce three new changes to parking charges: To extend our emission-based pricing to permits for doctors, teachers, business-all zones, business-single zones and motorcycles; To extend the diesel surcharge to all diesel vehicles - including Euro 6 compliant for all permit types including resident permits; To introduce a surcharge for second and subsequent permits held by a single household. Lambeth Council is consulting on the Revised Draft Lambeth Local Views SPD as part of a two-stage process. We’re planning to create a new low traffic neighbourhood (LTN) in Brixton Hill, because many local streets are clogged by motor vehicles using them as a shortcut. By reducing traffic, we can support more people to walk, wheel, scoot and cycle.

Lambeth has committed to making our borough Net Zero carbon emission by 2030. We are proposing to carry out a complete home retrofit of a number of homes in Myatt's Field South as a pilot scheme to help achieve this aim.
