Lambeth Council aims to increase canopy cover across the borough and aim to plant 5000 trees between 2022 and 2026. Regrettably though, there are instances where we need to fell trees. Most street trees are felled because they are dead, irreparably damaged (for example by vehicle collisions) or decaying to the point where they are structurally unsound. The Council is carrying out a combined statutory consultation on proposals to extend the Tulse Hill Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) extension and the Brockwell Park to Gipsy Hill Healthy Route.

We want your views on our proposal to convert our existing North Area Housing Office into a local community hub that allows residents to access a group of services, advice and support in one location. The consultation runs from 13th July 2021 to 9th August 2021.

Lambeth is working with the Football Foundation to develop new Football Facilities in the Borough.
