Lambeth Council is consulting on the Revised Draft Lambeth Local Views SPD as part of a two-stage process. The revised draft SPD provides information on locally designated views to ensure they are well managed into the future. Please share your views with us by completing the online survey on our commonplace site.

We want your views on our proposals to introduce three new changes to parking charges: To extend our emission-based pricing to permits for doctors, teachers, business-all zones, business-single zones and motorcycles; To extend the diesel surcharge to all diesel vehicles - including Euro 6 compliant for all permit types including resident permits; To introduce a surcharge for second and subsequent permits held by a single household. We want you to have your say and raise any issues affecting the safety of women and girls. It will allow us to better understand your concerns, perceptions and experiences. The Black Lives Matter protests during 2020 led to new momentum behind long-standing concerns about statues, memorials and street names with associations with the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade.  This is a community conversation, together we want to develop proposals on how to deal with this difficult aspect of our history. We would like to hear your views by taking comments on our Commonplace site. The consultation is open from 9 March to 31 May 2022.

Lambeth Council is conducting a Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA) which looks at the health and pharmacy needs of the people who live in your area. We would like to hear from you by completing our online survey. The survey is open from 7 March to 10 April 2022.

We’re planning to create a new low traffic neighbourhood (LTN) in Streatham Wells, because many local streets are clogged by motor vehicles using them as a shortcut. By reducing traffic, we can support more people to walk, wheel, scoot and cycle.

This is because we’re considering making the changes permanent after monitoring the LTN and finding that it has been reducing traffic in the area. Lambeth Bee Roads is a series of proposed greening projects to convert grassland and tarmac alongside roads into meadows, rain gardens, and wildflower planting. The Bee Roads will be on land managed by Lambeth housing and highways. We are interested in your opinions and your help on the Lambeth Bee Roads.
