Partners and collaborations
Lambeth HDRC works in partnership with residents, community organisations, academic institutions and local services.
Together, we generate high-quality evidence, work to understand local priorities and support action on the wider determinants of health.
Our founding partners
King’s College London (KCL)
We work with KCL to strengthen research across Lambeth, informing policy and practice.
Our shared work includes:
- knowledge transfer activities
- training for council staff
- joint research applications
- a data linkage initiative
- collaboration on multiple research projects.
Our partnership helps to ensure that academic expertise informs local priorities and supports evidence-based decision-making.

Black Thrive
Black Thrive is a long-standing community-led organisation in Lambeth working to dismantle the barriers that negatively affect Black residents’ mental health and wellbeing.
We work with Black Thrive to ensure that lived experience, racial equity, and community voices are at the heart of our research and decision-making.
