Research impact

Lambeth HDRC supports research that informs policy, service design and delivery across Lambeth Council and its wider system, to improve health and wellbeing and reduce health inequalities. 

Our work focuses on: 

• building research and data infrastructure that enables evidence and insights to be used over time
• supporting applied research and evaluation on priority issues affecting residents
• enabling research careers in Lambeth through placements, fellowships and internships

We work with other council teams, academic partners, local organisations and members of the community to ensure research is relevant to local needs and can be used in decision-making.
