Lambeth Parent Champions use their local knowledge to support other parents and carers. They introduce them to children’s centres, early years services and childcare offers - all while developing new skills and meeting new people.
Are you a parent or carer who:
- lives in Lambeth?
- is an expectant parent or has a child under 5?
- wants to help families in Lambeth find out about things to do and how to get the support they need?
- is looking to bring about positive change in your community?
Being a Parent Champion is a flexible volunteering opportunity that can be done in your own time around family, childcare and work commitments.
You will receive the training and resources needed to help connect local families.

- Hitherfield Children's Centre, Hitherfield Road, SW16 2LW
Training takes place in a Better Start Children’s Centre, with a free creche to support you to attend.
