After having my last child, I decided for a few reasons to take a career break. Being a Parent Champion has enabled me to do what I set out to do and much more.
Since being a Parent Champion, I have found out so much more about what Lambeth has to offer, and I have shared that information with other parents with confidence.
I have now been able to get a full-time role as a learning mentor in a primary school. Being a Parent Champion has supported me in getting that role as I was able to talk about my role and what I have learnt during interview.”
