A popular medium-sized open space in the heart of Waterloo, with a rich and fascinating history.

Brockwell Park is a large park set within a hilly landscape and comprising a network of ponds, trees (including ancient oaks), a walled 'Old English' flower garden and wide, open meadows.

Kennington Park is large and attractive Victorian-era public park, with winding paths and numerous mature trees, helping create a graceful, historic yet peaceful atmosphere.

Larkhall Park is an local park between Clapham, Stockwell and Vauxhall, which includes artificial and grass football pitches and tennis courts, a children’s playground, and a community garden.

Palace Road Nature Garden is based on the site of two large houses and their gardens, at 34 and 36 Palace Road, which were demolished in the 1980s.

St. Mary's Gardens is a small open space in Waterloo and within easy travelling distance of Westminster, Albert Embankment and the South Bank.

The Rookery is an attractive formal garden located between Streatham, Norbury and West Norwood. It is almost enveloped by Streatham Common, one of Lambeth's largest open spaces.
