Strengthening Families, Strengthening Communities
Strengthening Families, Strengthening Communities is a 13 week group programme offered to parents/carers of children and young people aged from birth to 18 years old.
The course supports you to achieve positive change for your family by promoting your child’s social skills and self-discipline, helping you to develop strategies to deal with challenges at home and increasing your confidence and competence.
Our Summer term 2026 programmes
Tuesdays 14th April 2026 to Tuesday 14th July 2026 (no session in half term 26th May 2026), 9.30am to 12.30pm at Hitherfield Children's Centre, Hitherfield Road, SW16 2LW.
For Spanish speakers only, Fridays 17th April 2026 to Friday 17th July April 2026 (no session in half term 29th May 2026), 9.30am to 12.30pm at St. Stephen's Children Centre, Meadow Place, SW8 1XZ

We know that some young people face challenges that go beyond what traditional programmes can support.
Juvenis is a specialist service offering tailored support and training for teens struggling at school, at home, or in the community. They help young people rebuild confidence and re-engage with education, employment or training.
