Parenting Support Service

The Parenting Support Service offers a range of group based or online parenting courses for families living in Lambeth.

Stronger Relationships

Stronger Relationships programmes offer a comprehensive approach, combining online sessions, engaging workshops, and valuable resources for anyone co-parenting children. Co-parents can expect to learn effective communication styles, problem-solving skills, and conflict-resolution techniques.

The online and in-person courses to develop better family relationships and reduce parental conflict, are based on the Strengthening Families Strengthening Communities approach and draw on years of expertise of working with parents.

Two online courses are available, one exploring relationships where you live in the same house as a co-parent (that could be two biological parents or it could include another key adult who helps bring up children like grandparents or a step parent); and a second where co-parents live apart in different homes but still share children.

Why Choose the Stronger Relationships Programme?

Strengthening Families, Strengthening Communities understands the challenges of balancing responsibilities as parents and carers, which is why the online course offers the flexibility to learn at your own pace.

You will be able to access course materials and videos at a time that suits you best. Furthermore, the Stronger Relationships programme fosters a sense of community and collective growth. You will engage in weekly group discussions with course experts and fellow parents, allowing you to share experiences, seek guidance, and explore fresh perspectives.
