We’re still here to support your fostering journey.
The coronavirus pandemic is causing widespread disruption throughout the country, and the world. Many of us are self-isolating, working from home, or supporting others who might be doing so. The situation is constantly changing, so please continue to visit our site for regular updates.
If you’re thinking about fostering
The fostering team are here to support and answer any queries, so please contact us to discuss anything further. Foster carers are needed now more than ever over the forthcoming months, as more and more children and their families become affected by coronavirus.
Regrettably, due to the current government instruction to isolate, we have had to suspend our weekly drop-in sessions and our information evenings, but please keep an eye on our site for further updates.
We’ve taken these steps to ensure that we can continue to support your fostering journey, while ensuring that we as a community keep safe.
- Our team is working remotely and in safe environments taking calls, meaning that we are still on hand to answer any questions and queries you may have over the phone.
- We have lots of information that we can email to you.
- We can meet you ‘online’ through video chat if you prefer.
We welcome applicants from all walks of life, please drop us an email at fosteringduty@lambeth.gov.uk or call us on 020 7926 8710.
