Housing Estate Permit Parking (HEPP)

Charting the history of proposed Housing Estate Permit Parking (HEPP)

Phase 3 implementation

What is the current status of the proposals?

Following the council's decision to introduce parking controls in some of our housing estates (HEPP3) our contractor is now ready to carry out implementation of the signing and lining.

Take a look at the decision report which details the statutory consultation results and final decision.

What happens next?

It is anticipated that the signing works will start the week commencing 21 August 2023 and should only take a few days to complete per estate. The lining works will be carried out after the signs have been installed and the area/zone becomes enforceable.

Parking controls will be introduced on the following Lambeth housing estates:

Please note: Russell Grove will now be included as part of the Vassall CPZ (zone V), with further consultation will be undertaken shortly.

How do I apply for an estate parking permit?

Permit applications can only be processed one month prior to the zone going live. These measures are anticipated to go live on Monday 6 November 2023. Therefore, permit applications for these new zones can be processed from Friday 6 October 2023.
