Parenting Support Service

The Parenting Support Service offers a range of group based or online parenting courses for families living in Lambeth.

Teen Life

Teen Life is a 6 session programme offered to parents/carers of young people aged from 10 to 16 years old with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) diagnosis.

The programme has been developed by The National Autistic Society to help you to understand more about how autism is experienced by autistic teenagers. Topics covered include self-esteem, spending time with other people, stress and anxiety, behaviour, puberty, independence skills, education strategies and planning for the future. Teen Life also aims to promote a consistent approach by encouraging parents to attend the sessions with a professional who is working regularly with their child.

Teen Life information sessions provide parents with more in depth knowledge of the 6 session programme, the dates of the next programme and how to apply.

To attend an upcoming information session register with the Parenting Support Service (ASD).
