Is my COT3 going to be processed under the new or old system?
Apart from schools with external payroll providers whose figures we were waiting on all schools beginning with the letters A – K were processed under the ‘old’ process whereby their COT3s were sent to ACAS who sent them out to the individual.
This was only for those current staff who had made a claim to ACAS in 2020 (or at least it was received by Lambeth Council from ACAS in 2020).
Upon request of ACAS, the process switched to a ‘new’ process in late April 2021 to the personal offer letter/ ACAS webinars and COT3s sent out individually to claimants. So far schools from L – Z, apart from external payroll provider schools, have had personal offer letters sent out to staff who claimed to ACAS in 2020 (or at least it was received by Lambeth Council from ACAS in 2020) and these staff are being processed under this new process.
Staff from schools A – Z who claimed to ACAS in 2021, Leavers and staff at external payroll provider schools who have sent in their figures and they have been verified will be sent out personal offer letters in the coming weeks.
