Children should have time outside every day, as well as opportunities to be inside.
There are many benefits to taking children on visits to places in their local community and further afield to broaden their horizons and add to their cultural capital.
Visits can often provide meaningful learning opportunities in an engaging and inspiring way.
Linking them to children’s interests can be very beneficial and highly motivating.
