Resources to support behaviour
Many resources to support behaviour can be found on our Lambeth School Services website.
Graduated response tables
The Graduated Response Tables cover different areas of special educational needs and the strategies or approaches schools may need to have in place to meet pupil’s needs.
These can support schools to identify additional provision that is required by a pupil or group of pupils, and to audit what is offered via ordinarily available provision.
Attention difficulties resource pack
The Attention Difficulties Resource Pack can be used by schools to support pupils who find it difficult to concentrate, listen and sit still in class.
The Pack contains strategy sheets which can be used by a school in any order. The strategy sheets are divided into strategies which are easy to implement, medium and a bit more effort.
Each strategy sheet also includes a prompt which school staff can use in discussion with a pupil so that the approach or strategies to try can be jointly agreed.
Before using the strategy sheets, schools should take time to read and consider the section on ‘Calm, Happy and Ready for the Classroom’. This includes a resource to support schools to plot out the times during the day or week when a pupil is calm and when they struggle.
An ‘All About Me’ sheet is provided to support school staff to think about other factors that may affect the pupil’s attention.
