The Ritzy roll out the red carpet and welcome the happy couple and their guests, into this beautiful Grade II-listed cinema, which has been at the heart of vibrant Brixton since 1911.
The 350-seat auditorium, with its dazzling Edwardian plasterwork, has, for the last 100 years, been a sanctuary to some of the most romantic moments in cinema history. It is now ready to host your own magic moment, and bring your memories as a couple to life on the silver screen.
Upstairs at the Ritzy is the perfect venue to host a reception to remember. It has a well-stocked bar, a balcony with a spectacular view over Windrush square and is fully equipped to host a DJ or live band for your first dance.

The Ritzy is also licensed to hold small intimate weddings upstairs on Brixton’s best balcony overlooking Windrush Square. With natural light coming through the windowed front, it’s almost like a greenhouse wedding with all the convenience of an indoor venue.
With various catering options, a fully-functioning bar, live music and DJ facilities, your wedding reception will be an unforgettable one.

Upstairs Bar - A lovely intimate space to host your reception (or ceremony!). From £75 p/hr (+ VAT)
Screen of your choice - Each screen is priced differently by the hour, with a minimum of 2 hours for your hire. £160 - £1300 (+ VAT)
Unlimited photobooth - First hour £90.00, each hour thereafter is an additional £75.
Red Carpet - A carpet on entry to the screen. £50 + VAT Small / £75 (+ VAT Large)
Readograph Hire - Monday - Thursday. Limited availability Friday - Sunday. £250 (+ VAT)
Projectionist - Requirement if you are w anting any videos being played on the screen. £25 p/hr (+ VAT)
DCP Conversion - Our projectors here at The Ritzy only take DCP format, if you would like to play a video on screen & can not provide a DCP version we can convert a MP4 or MOV file for you. £45 p/hr (+ VAT)
Popcorn - This is for a portion of baby popcorn. £2.80 (inc VAT)
External Catering – Includes crockery, table cloth & cutlery. £3.50 (+ VAT)
Corkage - Please ask a member of our Events team for fees if you would like to bring in your own drinks .
