Cremations
Cremation fees
The cremation fee includes:
- the use of the chapel
- chapel attendant
- the playing of recorded music using CDS, MP3 players or from our online music library (Obitus) where available
- the scattering of cremated remains on a weekday by appointment
- medical referee fee
- provision of one container for the cremated remains.
The fees apply at both Lambeth and West Norwood Crematoria.

New earthen graves are only available at Lambeth and Streatham cemeteries. Metal and wooden caskets are not permitted.
Lambeth and Wandsworth residents
All renewals of grave tenure for the relevant grave and tenure are subject to pricing.
Proof of residence in Lambeth or Wandsworth is required.

Exhumation fees
Please discuss with the relevant cemetery office. Exhumation can only take place with the proper lawful authority, the consent of the holder of the exclusive rights for burial, and with the permission of the council.
